what this place is for
At the moment, Iām not entirely sure! But, Iād like to share thoughts about the things that Iām inspired by/like in general, and also muse on the projects which I work on in my free time. This will likely evolve as time goes on.
I donāt think I can call this a blog, but I love the idea of a ādigital gardenā so this will be something of the sort.
For now, you can check out the behind the scenes page to see some musing on projects, or general musings with no particular thread of topic tying it and also whatever me back in the spring of 2025 was up to because most of the content current here is from then.
why it was made
Social media is something that I always have conflicting feelings about, especially in the modern landscape, and I thought that I would want to loosen up those feelings by experimenting with something more freeform and personal. As a kid, I always enjoyed making little websites, so in a way I am trying to channel my inner child.
I have also been told by people that apparently my writing is appealing to them? But I personally am not someone who gravitates towards writing, especially if it comes with a bunch of expectations like it often does on social media!
Other than that, I think that everyone should try to make their own little space on the internet! It doesnāt have to be fancy.
At first, the idea for this website was something super ugly, just pure html posts and chaos. I might still play around with that in some way, though in the end I settled upon using quartz as a baseline to create this website, as it connects well with Obsidian which Iāve been using as a note taking platform for a while now.
However, even Obsidian is something I find myself not that good at using āproperlyā, with links and all, so this was also a place for me to challenge myself with that.
